When you think of a perfect wedding day, Brittany and Brandon's celebration immediately comes to mind. This couple, who hail from Montana, pulled off a wedding that was not only beautiful and heartfelt but also full of adventure and personal touches that made it truly unforgettable. From the morning ceremony under the iconic iron arches at The Red Earth Venue to the lively evening reception complete with a mechanical bull, every moment was filled with joy, love, and a bit of fun — and I was honored to play a role in bringing their floral vision to life.

Floral Details that Wowed

As a florist, there’s something so special about creating flowers that reflect the unique personalities of a couple — and Brittany and Brandon’s florals were no exception. Brittany, a stunning former Miss Montana (2009!), radiated beauty throughout the day, and we wanted her flowers to match her elegance while adding a touch of rugged, natural beauty to reflect Brandon's strong and adventurous spirit.

For their ceremony, we created a "floral nest" — a circular, modular arrangement that formed the centerpiece of their vows under the arches. Using a gradient color blocking from whites to oranges to reds and burgundy, our ingredients included:

The ceremony installation was both wild and sophisticated, bringing in the earthy tones of their Montana roots and the desert landscape of The Red Earth Venue.

The best part? We were able to repurpose those same floral pieces to create stunning reception centerpieces in the evening, with the help of my amazing team. It was a seamless transformation — a testament to the teamwork and creativity that goes into every wedding.

A Show-Stopping Welcome Installation

To set the tone right from the start, we also created a custom welcome installation that greeted guests as they arrived. This included a hand-built copper frame, which is one of the signature pieces my business rents out and customizes for each couple. The frame was paired with candles in glass cyclones and an eye-catching floral design featuring a bold buffalo skull — a perfect nod to Brittany and Brandon’s Montana roots and their love for the rugged, natural beauty of the West. It was a striking and unforgettable piece that made an incredible first impression and provided a memorable photo opportunity for guests throughout the day.

Honoring Their Loved Ones

It’s clear that Brittany and Brandon’s wedding was about more than just celebrating their love — it was also about remembering the loved ones who were no longer there. Their late boxer dog, Sugar Ray, held a special place in their hearts, and to honor him, we incorporated a small photo pendant on Brittany's bouquet handle. It was a beautiful and poignant way to keep his memory close as she walked down the aisle. They also had a gorgeous memory table dedicated to Sugar Ray, which brought a tear to my eye as I looked through all their photos.

And then there was Huckleberry, their adorable French Bulldog, who had a special VIP spot throughout the whole day. Pets are such an important part of the family, and having Huckleberry there to share in their love and celebration was a lovely addition to their day.

A Day of Adventure and Celebration

Brittany and Brandon’s wedding wasn’t just a day — it was an adventure. After their beautiful morning ceremony and brunch in the glass house, they and their guests spent the afternoon exploring and making memories. But they weren’t done celebrating yet. That evening, the couple returned to The Red Earth Venue for an epic reception where the party really kicked into high gear. The highlight? A mechanical bull! It was the perfect blend of fun and a little friendly competition — and definitely an unforgettable part of their day.

A Firefighter and His Bride: A Perfect Match

With Brandon being a firefighter, there’s a natural strength, courage, and heroism that runs through his life and his love for Brittany. It was clear from the way they looked at each other that these two are a perfect match — adventurous, deeply in love, and ready to face whatever life throws their way together.

A Beautiful Day, A Beautiful Couple

From the heartfelt moments of remembering Sugar Ray to the playful antics of riding the mechanical bull, Brittany and Brandon's wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are: strong, loving, adventurous, and full of life. It was such a pleasure to be part of their special day and help bring their floral vision to life, from the ceremony florals to the reception centerpieces.

I loved working with this beautiful couple, and if you’re looking to create a wedding that’s full of personal touches, adventure, and stunning florals, I’d love to be a part of your celebration, too!
