Celebrating Love in Moab: A Stunning Desert Wedding with Christina and TK

Jessie Lyn Photography at Dead Horse Point

There's something truly magical about the desert landscape of Moab — the rich red rocks, the vast skies, and the quiet beauty of nature. It was the perfect backdrop for Christina and TK’s beautiful wedding, where they said “I do” surrounded by the stunning scenery at The Red Earth Venue and their closest loved ones. As a florist, I always love working with couples who have a vision that’s as unique as their love story, and Christina and TK were no exception. From the moment they shared their ideas with me, I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember!

A Dreamy Palette: Pink Flowers and Succulents

Christina and TK chose pink flowers and lush succulents as their main ingredients — the perfect blend of romantic and earthy for a Moab wedding. We went with vibrant pink empress protea, locally grown tulips, and dramatic draping amaranth, paired with vibrant greenery and, of course, our signature succulents to add that extra desert flair. The rich textures of the blooms and the unique look of the succulents created an effortless elegance that complemented the dramatic desert backdrop.

I had the privilege of creating all the bouquets for the bride and bridal party — from Christina’s stunning bridal bouquet to the bridesmaids’ arrangements, which were a perfect balance of soft and playful. For the ceremony, I worked my floral magic to ensure that the flowers reflected the couple’s love for the natural world around them, with vased arrangements that were repurposed at the reception.

A Family Touch: Centerpieces Made with Love

One of the most special parts of this wedding was that Christina’s mom took on the task of creating the centerpieces. She poured so much love and care into each one, and on the day of the event, we collaborated to add some additional floral elements to the succulent planters she created and brought with her. It was clear that the entire wedding was a labor of love, from the flowers to the décor. The result was a stunning combination of DIY charm and professional floral design — a true reflection of the couple’s personalities and their support system.

A Special DJ and a Local Connection

What made the day even more personal was that Christina and TK discovered Moab through a dear friend of theirs who lives here — and that same friend was the DJ for the wedding! It’s always heartwarming to see couples connect with their vendors on a personal level, and this was such a beautiful example of that. It was fun getting to see Christina and TK again at that DJ’s local wedding this year — it felt like catching up with old friends!

The Perfect Wedding, Desert Magic, and Blooming Memories

The colors, the setting, the energy — it all came together beautifully. We’re so grateful to have been a part of Christina and TK’s big day and to have played a key role in bringing their vision to life. It’s always such an honor to work with couples who are as warm, loving, and full of joy as these two.

If you're dreaming of a wedding surrounded by stunning desert views, lush blooms, and a personalized touch, I would absolutely love to help bring that vision to life. Whether you’re saying “I do” in Moab or nearby in Colorado, I’m here to make your floral dreams a reality!
