A Multi-Day Wedding Celebration at The Red Earth Venue in Moab | Sophie & Ryan

Friends and family traveled from California and beyond to celebrate Sophie and Ryan over the course of three unforgettable days in Moab. Rather than packing everything into a single afternoon, they created a wedding weekend that invited guests to slow down, experience the desert, and spend meaningful time together—from a sunset welcome party at Gold Bar to a farm-to-table rehearsal dinner and an elegant all-white wedding at The Red Earth Venue.

A Desert Welcome at Gold Bar

The festivities began with a welcome party at Gold Bar, hosted by Stargazer Social Club. Guests gathered among the red rock cliffs to settle into vacation mode, sip signature cocktails, and catch up as the sun dropped behind the canyon walls. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, making it an unforgettable introduction to the desert for everyone who had traveled to celebrate with Sophie and Ryan.

A Farm-to-Table Rehearsal Dinner at Easy Bee Farms

The following evening, everyone gathered at Easy Bee Farms for an intimate rehearsal dinner. Just south of Moab, Easy Bee is one of those hidden gems that locals love—a beautiful hobby farm with a walk-up farm stand stocked with fresh produce, homemade sourdough bread, and baked goods throughout the week.

For the dinner tables, we kept everything relaxed and colorful, filling mason jars with fall flowers that felt right at home on the farm. Wild sunflowers were mixed with dahlias, gomphrena, amaranthus, and cosmos, many of which were grown right there on the Easy Bee property.

Confluence Catering prepared a gorgeous dinner onsite using vegetables grown on the farm, creating an evening that felt warm, personal, and deeply connected to the land. It was one of those wonderful occasions where the flowers and cuisine were true reflections of the place.

Honoring Tradition

The wedding day began with a meaningful Chinese tea ceremony shared with the bride's family. For this celebration, we designed abundant monochromatic red floral arrangements overflowing with dahlias—a dramatic departure from the wedding palette that honored the significance of the tradition.

Beginning the day with such an intimate family ceremony before transitioning into the larger wedding festivities made the entire celebration feel layered and deeply personal.

An Elegant All-White Wedding at The Red Earth Venue

While the events leading up to the wedding embraced the colors of fall, the ceremony itself was timeless in classic white. We featured gorgeous white roses, locally grown white dahlias, masses of lisianthis—one of our all-time favorite flowers—and an array of delicate textural blooms that gave the designs movement without distracting from the incredible desert backdrop.

At the ceremony, we designed two floral towers bordered by a modular floral nest that framed Sophie and Ryan as they exchanged vows. After the ceremony, many of those modular pieces were repurposed throughout the reception, with several placed at the ends of guest tables and others adorning the cake display. Designing flowers that can evolve with the celebration is one of our favorite ways to maximize their impact throughout the day.

We also created custom signage on gold mirrors, including the welcome sign, seating chart, and dinner menu, giving the reception a cohesive look that complemented the classic floral design.

An Incredible Team Behind the Scenes

One of the best parts of weddings like this is working alongside an exceptional vendor team.

Val and her team at Tellurian Events orchestrated every moving part of this multi-day celebration with a calm confidence that allowed all of us to do our best work. Exceptional food, beautiful photography, delicious cocktails, stellar music, and thoughtfully curated rentals all came together to create a gorgeous weekend of celebration.

From the welcome party through the wedding day itself, every event flowed seamlessly thanks to thoughtful planning, incredible attention to detail, and a team of talented vendors who genuinely love what they do.

It was a joy to collaborate with such a talented group of creatives, each contributing their expertise to a celebration that felt thoughtful, personal, and beautifully cohesive.

Sophie and Ryan's celebration is exactly the kind of celebration we love most—one where beautiful flowers are only one piece of a much bigger story. Every event reflected the place, the people, and the traditions that mattered most to them, making the entire weekend feel thoughtful, welcoming, and unmistakably their own.
